This book contains a proposal that might at first sight seem extravagant. A series of photographs of men from South America stripped of their clothing, surprised in their own worlds. Exposed to the view of all, showing only their physical attributes and the environment that marks them. Deprived of all that covers them, surrounded by what little gives them shelter. Surely this two-fold harshness is an image in accordance with a region with a history as stark as that of South America?
