This privileged view of the Earth and its best-kept secrets is revealed to us through 170 photographs taken by French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand over a 10-year period during which he flew over the geographical features of more than sixty countries.

As part of a project sponsored by UNESCO and other distinguished international institutions, this original photographic record in book format has become an essential document in the promotion of the care of our planet, as well as serving to transmit its beauty and diversity to future generations.

This work, with over 2.5 million copies sold worldwide, continues to excite and renew our connection with the blue planet; viewed from the air, natural features and human construction become  transformed into works of art that reawaken our love for the planet that is our home.
