Arthus-Bertrand, Yann

This French photographer of great international renown was born in 1946. A lover of nature, he lived for some years in Africa, where he studied animal behavior in lions. Returning to France, he contributed to several magazines, including National Geographic, Life y Paris Match. In 1991 he founded the Altitude agency in Paris, and printed more than sixty books of aerial photography, including La Argentina desde el cielo, published by Ediciones Larivière, which also published Caballos and Arte rural. He is a member of the French Academy of Fine Arts.
