Alonso, Rodrigo

Rodrigo Alonso was born in Buenos Aires in 1965. A Fine Arts graduate, he researches and writes on the theory of technology art, having become an expert on the history and current state of such work in Latin America. He has published numerous essays and books on the topic, and contributes regularly to newspapers, art magazines and catalogs. As an independent curator he has organized exhibitions for leading Argentine and foreign institutions. In 2011 he was the curator for the Argentine submission to the 54th Venice Biennale.
