Barrantes, Susan

Born in England, she learned the secrets of horse-breeding at an early age. When she married Héctor Barrantes she set up home in Argentina, where she became a renowned polo expert and breeder of ponies for teams in Argentina and around the world. She was killed in a car accident in 1997.
