A selection of the photographic work by Marcos Lopez from 1978 until 2010 is presented in this work for the first time. Lopez is an artist who has made a strong impression beyond Argentina’s borders, as can be seen from his presence at international photographic exhibitions. This book was published to coincide with the 2010 Frankfurt Book Fair. The variety and quality of his compositions as well as his original concept of “criollo sub-realism” show why he is one of the most significant artists in the current Latin American photographic spectrum.
